Action, one of the fastest growing discount stores in Europe, offers a wide range of products. Its warehouses in Echt process thousands of products every day, creating new job opportunities.
As an Order Picker at Action Warehouse, you will play an important role in ensuring that stores are fully stocked. You will use the voice picking system to collect orders, often walking and picking up boxes. To make your work interesting, you will receive training in different areas and learn about different functions. You will work with a wide variety of items, from home décor and toys to school supplies, work tools, and food.
You will work from Monday to Friday in two shifts: morning (06:00 - 15:00) and evening (15:00 - 00:00). In addition, on Saturdays you will work the day shift from 06:00 to 15:00. Overtime is accrued after four weeks if you work more than 160 normal hours; This means that only hours above 160 will be considered overtime.
There are many training opportunities available at Action. You can learn to work as a forklift driver or truck driver. The on-site cafeteria also serves tasty, hot and cold meals, which you will get for free during the afternoon shift. If you do well and achieve your goals, you can get great bonuses!
What You Need to Succeed
- EPT, reach truck or forklift certified ready
- Ready to work in shifts
- Good physical condition
- Readiness for long-term employment
- Good communication skills in English.
What are your tasksAs an order picker, you will collect products from different parts of the warehouse. Your tasks may include:
- Picking products using a voice picking system (in English, Dutch or Polish)
- Lifting and packing products of different weights
- Quality checking and parcel labelling
